Pioneer Presents an All-in-One Solution to Pumping Club Sound at Home with Pro-Style Speakers

The Club7 (XW-SX70B) and Club5 (XW-SX50B/H) are wireless 2-Way loudspeakers designed to reproduce bass-heavy music with maximum impact.

Key to achieving that is Pioneer’s newly developed ‘Kick Enhance’ technology, designed to optimise bass-drum attack for an upbeat sound. Whichever model you choose, both employ independently-powered woofers (2 x 180mm for the Club 7, 2 x 130mm for the Club 5) and two tweeters in a heavily panelled enclosure.

Bluetooth wireless technology, voice-activated playlist playback, and Pioneer’s Club Sound App - giving access to popular streaming services - join USB and AUX inputs in bringing a near limitless variety of music to the Club Sound Series. What’s more, two speakers can be paired for L/R stereo playback, while RCA chain inputs/outputs allow users to link multiple speakers together, for even bigger sound and fun.

Rave & Chill Lighting

The Club7 and Club5 keep their fingers on the musical pulse, bathing the room in a single- or multi-coloured glow from LEDs inset into both the front and rear panels of the speakers. In ‘Rave LED Mode’, for instance, the LEDs sync to the beat, creating a private lightshow, energising the party mood. ‘Chill LED Mode’, meanwhile, glows softly to downbeat or ambient sounds. Users can choose whichever lighting mode works best via the smartphone app or the old-fashioned way, via large back-lit buttons on the speakers.

Kick Enhance

Conventional bass-boosting technologies emphasise a narrow band of low-mid bass, and as a consequence, higher frequencies - which gives bass-drum a sense of definition and snap – often become obscured. Pioneer’s new Kick Enhance technology preserves high-frequency sounds within the bass spectrum, helping to give deep notes the required speed and attack for that satisfying club sound.

Change Playlists by Voice

When the lights are low and the party’s jumping, it can be a tricky task to change the music. Pioneer builds in the ability to call up music just by pressing the Voice button on the speaker and requesting it to change to your favourite playlist (from Spotify and TuneIn). A great way of guaranteeing you’ve always got the perfect music cued up for every occasion.

Pioneer Club Sound App

The free Pioneer Club Sound App connects to the Club7 or Club5 via Bluetooth LE. It allows users to assign playlists to the ‘Rave’ and ‘Chill’ lighting presets; select a music source; and access music streaming services comprising Spotify, TuneIn, TIDAL, and Deezer. Naturally, it has all the usual remote-control functions too, including volume control.
